Heat Exchanger Scale

Before and After soaking with CFS – Descaler

CFS - Clean Flush Soak

CFS – Descaler sets the industry standard in flushing and soaking parts and systems for the descaling and removal of lime, rust, calcium, mineral deposits, uric scale, clogs, blockages and much more.

CFS – Clean Flush Soak descalers eliminate limescale, calcium, rust, mineral deposits, uric scale, marine growth and more from HVAC and process manufacturing equipment. CFS Descale products can restore optimum performance of your industrial plate and frame heat exchangers. Along with heat exchanger tubes, evaporative coolers, HVAC cooling towers, boiler tubes / chiller tubes, engines and more. Clean Flush Soak descaler products safely, effectively and quickly remove lime scale, calcium and rust along with other water scale buildup, mud and non soluble deposits.

Clean Flush Soak industrial descaling liquids are corrosion inhibited and can be safely used with descaling systems or circulated within boilers, engines, raw water cooling systems, heat exchangers, hot water heaters, condensing boilers, chillers, plate and frame heat exchangers and any other hydronic system.

CFS – Clean Flush Soak is a range of Australian made products for Cleaning, Flushing and Soaking parts and systems for the removal of lime, rust, calcium, mineral deposits, uric scale, clogs, blockages and much more. For use in industries from Marine to Food and Beverage production to the descaling and cleaning of HVAC systems. Developed by Globatech Australia the CFS brand is a fast growing industry benchmark in Descaling and Cleaning solutions.

I have had a good amount of use with the CFS lately. CFS is working extremely well and saves me time leaving a perfect finish. You have done an excellent job developing such a good product.

Descale boilers and parts

Seawater Cooling Systems

Descale raw water cooling systems, bust barnacles, mussles, scaling and more restoring cooling system efficiency to new.

Restore parts, remove rust, lime, mineral and more.

Outboard Engines

Dissolve scale, salt and silt buildup inside cooling systems of outboard engines.

Widely used in industry from Oil and Gas to Engineering for rust conversion and descaling of parts and systems on large scale.

CFS – Descaler is a safe bio-degradable calcium, lime, rust, mineral and marine growth and descaling agent. Suitable for use as a safe fast and effective alternative to mechanical cleaning of equipment where scaling is and issue. For use in Engines, fresh and seawater cooling systems, strainers, all heat exchangers, water makers, pumps, piping, parts and anywhere requiring mineral, rust or lime descaling. Most applications will be completed in under 4 hours. CFS Descaler is typically used at 4:1 with water so 5L makes 25L of ready to use product!

When Should I use Clean Flush Soak Descaler?

  • It is generally a good idea to flush your engine once a year as a good preventative maintenance measure. This is especially important on engines with flexible rubber impellers. Marine growth is the most common cause of impeller failure.
  • It is very important to monitor your engines temperature. A consistent temperature increase of 5-10 degrees could mean a problem is starting to form within your cooling system. Flushing this with CFS – Descaler before the problem gets worse could save you a world of headaches.
  • On many engines, the raw water (seawater) discharged from the engine is used to cool the exhaust gases exiting the engine. If this water flow is reduced, steam (or white smoke) will begin to exit from the exhaust. One reason for this could be a clog within the heat exchanger or in the inter cooler. Flushing the engine may prove to be an inexpensive troubleshooting technique for a boat owner.

I flushed my 56 Riv 2 x CAT C18 1015 Hp Raw and fresh water system’s, reduced running temperatures and improved performance! Great product.
